A very first trial on 3d Logo I made for myself... I'll be opening an online portfolio on wordpress. So, I decided to make an official logo for me. :D

I really like the shape of this logo and I think it could be incredible with a few small improvements. I'm not sure how transparency would work on this particular mark due to the complexity of the shape, but it would be worth experimenting with. Also some subtle gradients and more burn/dodge in areas this could really pop.

Just my 2cents, keep up the great work, and thanks again for the feature.

WoW, Thanks for such good critique. I will take that. This was actually my first experiment on 3d logo design. So, I will improve this logo more.

looksok, but it's very pixilated and rough in areas, either make it vector or use pen tool ;)

Yeah.. But I did use pen tool. I did the icon in illustrator then designed it with photoshop. ^^;
